Family KITAS Visa (C317)
Family (or Dependent) KITAS for foreign nationals who are married to Indonesian citizens, as well as for their children, or for the spouses and children of holders of a work or investor KITAS.
The validity period of this KITAS is 1 year or 2 years, and it can be extended thereafter.
❗️ The Family KITAS can be issued for a period not exceeding the validity period of the sponsor's KITAS (parent or spouse).
Advantages of the Family KITAS:
• Free movement — allows foreigners to enter and exit Indonesia an unlimited number of times during the visa's validity period.
• Access to local prices for medical services and insurance.
• Ability to apply for Schengen and Japanese visas in Indonesia.
• Unrestricted opening of bank accounts in any Indonesian bank.
❗️ This type of KITAS visa does not allow holders to work or earn income from business activities within Indonesia.
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
- Before starting, you send us the documents electronically: personal documents and sponsor documents (family member, investor, or work KITAS holder).
- Sign the electronic contract.
- Payment online via any convenient method: we accept payment through international payment systems, to Russian/Ukrainian/Belarusian cards, cryptocurrency, or cash at our office in Bali.
- Receiving the electronic VITAS visa takes about 7-10 business days after submitting the documents. Then, you need to leave the country (if you are in Indonesia during the application) and activate the VITAS by re-entering Indonesia.
- After entry, we will send you the KITAS within 1-2 business days.
❗️ In some cases, it is possible to process an onshore KITAS (without the need to leave and re-enter the country).
Personal documents if the KITAS is being issued for the spouse of the primary KITAS holder:
- A high-quality photo of the passport main page.
- A photo with a white or red background (a selfie is acceptable).
- Marriage certificate translated into English. Translation can be delegated to us.

Payment can be made via:
- Money transfer from Russian ruble cards, as well as Belarusian and Ukrainian cards.
- Cash in dollars or rupiahs at our office in Bali. We can send a courier for free to collect the payment.
- Transfer to an Indonesian bank card in rupiahs.
- For non-Russian cards – SWIFT transfer to an Indonesian bank card in currencies: IDR, USD, EUR, AUD, CNY.
- Cryptocurrency.
Yes, both processes can be started simultaneously, the activation of the KITAS visas will also be simultaneous, and the whole family can arrive in Indonesia together.
