Investor KITAS (Type E28A) — Residence Permit in Indonesia
The Investor KITAS is issued for 1 or 2 years (and can be extended) to applicants who have investments in a foreign company PT PMA (a foreign investment company), as a general director, authorized person, or shareholder. Family members of the Investor are eligible for family (or dependent) KITAS.
Currently, there is a process for transitioning from visa 211A, visa D12, and VOA to an Investor KITAS — there is no longer a need to exit and re-enter Indonesia for activation.
Advantages of the Investor KITAS:
• Free movement — allows foreigners to enter and exit Indonesia an unlimited number of times during the visa's validity period.
• The ability to legally conduct business in Indonesia, earn income, and manage a company.
• Access to local rates for medical services and insurance.
• Eligibility to apply for Japanese visas in Indonesia.
• Easy opening of bank accounts in any Indonesian bank.
However, if you do not plan to actually conduct business in Indonesia, we do not recommend creating nominal companies. Currently, Indonesia offers many alternatives to the Investor KITAS, such as the Remote Worker KITAS (E33G), which has all the benefits, or the D12 visa for 1 or 2 years.

- Transfer to an Indonesian bank card in rupiah.
- For non-Russian cards — SWIFT transfer to an Indonesian bank card in the following currencies: IDR, USD, EUR, AUD, CNY.

- You send us the documents electronically: a photo of your passport's bio page, a photo with a white or red background, and the statutory documents of the company where you are an investor.
- Sign the electronic contract.
- Make the payment online using any convenient method: we accept payment through international payment systems, payments to Russian/Ukrainian/Belarusian cards, cryptocurrency, or cash in our office in Bali.
- Obtaining the electronic VITAS visa takes about 7-10 business days after document submission.
- You need to leave the country (if you are in Indonesia during the application process) and activate the VITAS upon re-entry to Indonesia.
- After entry, we will send you the electronic KITAS within 1-2 business days.
- A photograph of your passport's main page.
- Your colored photo with a white or red background. A selfie is acceptable.
- Your residential address in Indonesia.
Additionally, you will need to provide the company's statutory documents where you are a founder: AKTA, SK, and NIB of the company.
