The Retirement KITAS visa is available to individuals aged 55 and above. This visa serves as a temporary residence permit in Indonesia. It is issued for one year and can be renewed annually for up to five years. After this period, visa holders can apply for permanent residency.

The Retirement KITAS does not grant the right to work in Indonesia or to earn income from business activities in Indonesia.For a spouse who has not reached the age of 55, a dependent visa (family KITAS) can be arranged.
