Retirement KITAS Visa
The Retirement KITAS visa is available to individuals aged 55 and above. This visa serves as a temporary residence permit in Indonesia. It is issued for one year and can be renewed annually for up to five years. After this period, visa holders can apply for permanent residency.
Advantages of the Retirement KITAS:
• Free movement — allows foreigners to enter and exit Indonesia an unlimited number of times during the visa's validity period.
• Access to local rates for medical services and insurance.
• Eligibility to apply for Japanese visas in Indonesia.
• Easy opening of bank accounts in any Indonesian bank.
❗️ The Retirement KITAS does not grant the right to work in Indonesia or to earn income from business activities in Indonesia.
For a spouse who has not reached the age of 55, a dependent visa (family KITAS) can be arranged. The same visa can also be issued for the applicant's minor children (under 18 years old).

Personal Documents:
- A high-quality photo of the passport bio page. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the visa expires.
- A photo with a white or red background. A selfie is acceptable.
- A bank statement confirming an income or pension of $3000 per month.
- You send us the documents electronically.
- Sign the electronic contract.
- Make the payment online using any convenient method: we accept payment through international payment systems, payments to Russian/Ukrainian/Belarusian cards, cryptocurrency, or cash in our office in Bali.
- Receiving the electronic VITAS visa takes about 7-10 business days after document submission.
- Then, you need to leave the country (if you are in Indonesia during the application process) and activate the VITAS upon arrival in Indonesia.
- After entry, you need to send us your passport, or we can send a courier to you. Your passport will be submitted to immigration, where the VITAS will be exchanged for a KITAS. This will take 5 business days (your presence is not required).
- Cash in dollars or rupiah at our office in Bali. We can send a courier free of charge to collect the payment.
- Transfer to an Indonesian bank card in rupiah.
- SWIFT transfer to an Indonesian bank card in the following currencies: IDR, USD, EUR, AUD, CNY.
