Trademark Registration Procedure with Butler:

1. Initial Consultation: We discuss the trademark and its intended use. We check for any restrictions (similarities with other trademarks).
2. Document Collection: Trademark name to be registered and protected, and the trademark logo in jpeg format. Determine the type of goods/services to be provided by the trademark holder. Applicant's documents: the owner can be either an individual or your company.
3. Application Submission: We submit the application to the Directorate General of Intellectual Property. You will receive confirmation via email that the process has started.
4. Within 3 working days, we receive a positive response to the application with the registration number of your trademark. Documents confirming that the trademark has been accepted for certification will be sent to your email.

From this moment, you can already use your trademark without waiting for the trademark certificate.

The trademark certificate will be issued approximately 12 months after the trademark registration — the Directorate General of Intellectual Property will notify you by email.

Trademarks are valid for 10 years and can be renewed.
